As our Ballard neighborhood grows and transforms, there is an ever-pressing need to maintain a sense of community. A question often heard from new neighbors is “how do I become more involved in my community?” More than ever, there are people living in the neighborhood looking for ways to meet people and have a positive impact on the neighborhood and surrounding communities.
Sustainable Ballard has partnered with the Ballard Alliance to host “Get Plugged Into Ballard”, a once-per-quarter event that offers our residents, business owners and their employees a chance to meet one another and learn more about the ways in which they can become more involved and engaged in the Ballard Community. Each event features several non-profit and community groups, there to talk about ways for residents to “get plugged in”, along with a few sponsoring organizations.
