A decade after An Inconvenient Truth brought the climate crisis into the heart of popular culture, comes the riveting and rousing follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. Former Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy.

Cameras follow him behind the scenes — in moments both private and public, funny and poignant — as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

Please join Meaningful Movies : Sustainable Ballard for a screening of “An Inconvenient Sequel” on Sunday, February 25th @ 5:30pm at Amazing Grace Spiritual Center, 2007 NW 61st St. We invite you to stay after the film to hear from Ahmed Gaya, the Field Director for the Ahmed GayaAlliance for Jobs and Clean Energy.  Mr. Gaya spent the past decade running environmental and social justice campaigns in the U.S., Canada and Europe.  He joined the Alliance because he truly believes “It takes everyone, to change everything”.

This special screening is a fundraiser for the Meaningful Movies Project and Sustainable Ballard.  Suggested donation is $10-$15.

The Meaningful Movies Project is supported by a generous grant from 4Culture.
