B-Green Building Talk - June 2013 @ Greenfire Campus, North Building | Seattle | Washington | United States
Learn about the new Greenfire Campus building.
Located near the Ballard Library, the Greenfire Campus was designed to promote community while conserving resources and treading lightly on the land. Notably, 50% of the lot will be dedicated to urban wildlife habitat and gardens, including P-patches and urban agriculture space.
This talk, by architect Ray Johnston, will cover some of the project's many green features, including ground-source heat pumps, solar panels, rainwater collection, grey water reuse, green roof with edible and native plants, locally sourced recyclable materials, extensive daylighting, hydronic heating and cooling, exterior solar shades, and community
recreation spaces.
Don't miss the chance to tour this cutting-edge, LEED Platinum building. Questions encouraged!
Tickets are extremely limited for this event. Reserve your spot today.
