Spring Fill Up at Little Free Libraries™

Look for new books

As the number of Little Free Libraries in Ballard continues to grows, so too the number of books and folks involved. Lots of new boxes are already appearing since our last map.

Thanks to everyone who donated books to distribute or did the distribution already.

This spring look for a new posse coming to fill up any empty shelves.  The 517th Shilshole scout group, a local charter of the Baden-Powell Service Association have taken on the task with seven boxes of donated books. Now into its third year, this coed group ages 5-9 meets outside nearly every two weeks, and has been involved with local parks and camping trips. Their leader, Jason Walker, mentioned perhaps building a library with the help of our Tool Library!
