Make Herbal Infusions
Turn garden herbs into culinary and medicinal infusions. Herbs like mint, fennel, lavender and chamomile are easy to grow and can be made into products that are healthful and delicious.  Learn how to grow, harvest and utilize garden herbs in your kitchen pantry and medicine cabinet.In this class we will:
·         Discuss and taste different types of infusions including decoctions, vinegars, oils and syrups
·         Take a garden tour
·         Learn varieties of plants to grow, herb identification and parts of plants to harvest for medicinal and culinary uses
·         Make an herb-infused vinegar to take home

This class will take place both indoors and outdoors with hands-on activities. Cost of class includes supplies. Go home with a small sample to test and enjoy!

This class pairs well with Make Herbal Salves. Or, try a different kind of preservation with Intro to Fermentation.
