Documentary Film Screening: “Chasing Ice” – Aug 12

Did you know Washington has more glaciers than any other state, except Alaska? Glaciers are essential to our way of life. Without glaciers we don’t have drinking water, hydropower or salmon.[1]

Washington’s glaciers are shrinking and even disappearing, making us uniquely vulnerable to climate change and we must fight back.[2]

You’re invited to a special screening of the award winning film Chasing Ice.  See draw-dropping footage and learn how you can protect glaciers by fighting climate change here at home. In addition to the film, enjoy free microbrew and other drinks and appetizers.

A Sundance Film Festival Award Winner, Chasing Ice too powerful to miss. From TimeOut UK: “They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this instance, a few moments of jaw-dropping time-lapse footage pretty much eclipse every other environmental documentary we’ve seen before.”[3]
