This training combines classroom and field instruction to explain how to manage and prune native vegetation planted adjacent to trails, drives, and streets for optimal environmental functions, appearance, safety and visibility. Learn how to prune to reduce long-term labor needs and to lengthen the time between pruning cycles. We will cover key types of native plants commonly used and best management practices for their pruning. We will also discuss common pruning techniques that are ineffective and why, and demonstrate the best pruning techniques for the most effective results. Register Online or call 206-685-8033.
