Ballard Tool Library Seeks Outreach and Membership Intern
The Outreach and Membership Intern will focus on best practices in recruiting and engaging Ballard Tool Library members. Duties will include: managing BTL presence at local events, updating social media, and being a point of contact for current and potential members. Through the efforts of the intern, BTL membership will grow and the BTL will become a recognizable asset of the Ballard community. The Chair of the Leadership Team will supervise the Intern and provide mentoring and instruction.
Status: Temporary, part-time 3-month (or one academic quarter) appointment. Flexible scheduling (approximately 8 hours/week)
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in qualifying academic program, experience developing outreach plan, familiarity with Tool Libraries, communication skills, enthusiasm for public outreach
Reports to: Leadership Team Chair
