Ballard Gives Black – Thank you Swansons!
Many Ballard area businesses are promoting Ballard Gives Black Friday on the day after Thanksgiving and some through the holiday weekend. No “doorbusters” at 6:00 a.m. Instead, a more socially conscience effort is planned for our community as participating businesses are donating a portion of their sales to a local non-profit. This year, Sustainable Ballard will be sponsored by Swansons Nursery! Be sure to check in on our FaceBook page to learn more as plans develop.
When you shop locally, three times the revenue remains in your community. Non-profit organizations receive an average of 250% more support from local business owners than they do from non-locally owned businesses.
