Salmon Bay Park Play Area Ribbon Cutting on April 27 Salmon Bay Park’s new playground is reopened after being renovated! Please join the Salmon Bay Park Stewards and Seattle Parks and Recreation for the the official ribbon-cutting celebration on Sunday, April 27 from 1:00-3:00pm at the park (2001 NW Canoe Place). The festivities will feature face painters, food, and beverages.

Crown Hill Jane’s Walk on May 3 Jane’s Walk is an inspiring annual festival of free, community-led walking conversations that celebrate the legacy of visionary urbanist and writer Jane Jacobs. Every first weekend of May, hundreds of cities worldwide host Jane’s Walk festivals, empowering individuals to share their neighborhood stories, uncover hidden community gems, and connect with their neighbors through the simple yet powerful act of walking. Please join your neighbors in exploring Crown Hill in tribute to urban activist Jane Jacobs at the Crown Hill Jane’s Walk on Saturday, May 3 from 11:00am-12:30pm, beginning at Crown Hill Park (9089 Holman Rd NW). This is an all-ages, free guided tour.
