Fundamentals of Organic Gardening Part 2Wondering how the warming climate and temperature fluctuations will affect your food-growing practices here in the Pacific Northwest? These changes will require creativity and adaptability to keep a harvest of greens and fruits arriving on your dinner table throughout the growing season.

Topics addressed in this class will include:

  • setting your expectations for weather changes
  • garden planning adaptations
  • use of season extension
  • expanding your repertoire of crops

This intermediate level class will be a combination of slide show lecture, discussion and a group activity to get you thinking about new ways to plan a productive food garden in a changing climate.
