WorkSource is excited to get the word out about a workshop series geared toward those interested in reentering the workforce. It’s perfect for anyone who feels they have barriers to employment such as, long-term unemployment, homelessness, criminal history, disabilities, etc.; however, it’s a valuable workshops series for anyone looking for work.
The workshops will be held at the Ballard Library and are at no cost to participants. Each workshop is followed with ½ hour of service provider resources. Participants can get connected with Basic Food, OrcaLift, healthcare insurance, vocational rehabilitation, mental health resources, employment and training, and more.
The 6-week workshop series will be from 1p-3p beginning July 28th and ending August 30th. (Please note the first session is on a Thursday and the remaining sessions are on Tuesdays.) We encourage job seekers to come to one or all six! Please pass on the word to everyone who might be interested in employment and post on information boards if you have them.
