14Seattle Public UtilitiesSeattle Public Utilities is updating its Strategic Business Plan (SBP) to refine the organization’s focus and better serve the needs of its community. As part of this effort, SPU will be available to talk about the SBP update, answer questions, and gather feedback.

16RidwellWant to send less to the landfill? We can tell you how, plus answer all your questions about wasting less with Ridwell! Bring your family and friends, and put your recycling skills to the test with our fun sorting game! We’ll be collecting your bottlecaps and corks.
17Ballard Fremont GreenwaysBallard Fremont Greenways will have a bike set up on a stand with cards in the spokes for trivia, and safe bike, pedestrian, and bus advice for getting around Seattle. We will also have laminated sheets of our advocacy on improving bus routes and street design.
18Urban TumbleweedI will have a recording setup and a list of questions for individuals who would like to be on the next podcast episode to answer! For example “What does sustainability mean to you?” and “What do you wish you knew more about regarding sustainability?” Answers will be compiled into an episode that will premier in October.
19Grow It Forward RestorationVisit a “micro-nursery”, (4 by 4 foot area filled with 100 potted tree seedlings). Volunteers will engage interested people to explain project purpose and methods.
20Citizens Climate LobbyWe will have information on how to register to vote, we also have a bean bag toss for kids, and mostly will be talking to folks about what Citizens Climate Lobby is all about. Learn about the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (EICDA) which requires big polluters pay a fee which will be divided equally into refunds to every citizen in the United States.
