Nearly two tiny houses funded — let's keep going!

Nickelsville-Ballard will be here soon!  Seattle’s Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) has plans to build and place five or more tiny homes on the Market Street encampment site and we’re helping to raise the funds.  We’ve raised $3,650 to date, enough to build one house and two-thirds of another.  This important project will provide safe structures for people currently living in tents.

Each house has a pricetag of $2350.

$1,800 for lumber & materials, $250 for overhead light and ventilation fan and $300 to move each house from the build site to Ballard.  Volunteers will build the houses, and LIHI is looking for artists to paint the front doors.

You may donate through Paypal below or mail a check to Sustainable Ballard, 2442 NW Market St. #286, Seattle, WA 98107.  Please note “Tiny House Campaign” on your check.  If you would like your donation to be tax-deductible, please write it to Low Income Housing Institute with “Tiny House Ballard” in the memo line, and mail it to us at the above address.
