Save the Date: June 19 for Meaningful Movies

Meaningful Movies, a community-focused initiative dedicated to showcasing impactful documentaries, is coming back this June to shed light on important social issues. Their first screening will focus on celebrating and supporting Juneteenth, fostering awareness and reflection.

While the details are still being finalized, excitement is building. Sustainable Ballard and the Center for Spiritual Living Ballard are teaming up with the Meaningful Movies Project. Together, we plan to host these thought-provoking film nights every third Thursday of the month, turning our neighborhood into a gathering place for education, dialogue, and community connection.

These movie nights promise to be a meaningful way for neighbors to come together, reflect on history, and envision a more inclusive future.
