Please Take the Lead for Growing Starts Project
As many of you know Ballard Sprouts lost the greenhouse space they used for a decade this past season. They have moved to a new location in Mapleleaf and continue to grow thousands of plant starts each season. We do have a new smaller greenhouse space available to restart the project. Is anyone interested in leading this meaningful and rewarding effort?

This project previously involved growing starts for Seattle Giving Garden Network to distribute to community gardens throughout the city. We would like to focus a little closer to home and grow starts for Ballard area P-Patch giving gardens and other community gardens. There’s a possibility to work directly with the Ballard Food Bank to grow specific starts that their clients need.
Please contact us if you are 1) interested in leading or co-leading this project and 2) if you are interested in volunteering with this project. Let’s grow together!
