Got Yarn?

Sustainable Ballard Knitters for the Homeless received two deliveries of donated yarn recently which will keep our knitters in business for a few months at least. Thank you to all those who have donated yarn to our cause of keeping neighbors and community members warm! Our intrepid project leader Jody is making more space for yarn supplies and will gladly continue to accept donations. You can drop them off at our monthly 2nd Tuesday meet-ups or arrange to drop off directly to Jody.

Our knitters never stop, they knit year round! During the Spring and Summer they stock pile scarves and hats for the chilly days of Fall. Upcoming Spring Knitting dates are: Tuesday April 9th, May 14th and June 11th. As always we will be meeting from 7-9pm at Pour Decisions, 8000 15th Ave NW.  In addition to knitting and enjoying each others company, we will be discussing World Wide Knitting in Public Day which will be on June 8th this year. We look forward to seeing you!
