D.I.Y. Catio Made with BTL Tools

It’s home improvement season, and at the Ballard Tool Library, that includes our four legged friends.

BTL volunteer Jay shared these photos of his recent catio build for fur baby Scarlet, built with a slate of rented tools.

“The things we do for the cats we love,” Jay said. “With a miter saw to cut boards to length, the table saw to rip boards to the necessary width, and the pneumatic staple gun to put up the screens, we were able to knock this out in a weekend.”

With summer around the corner, many of our members are hard at work preparing their gardens and renovating their patios/catios for the season. Come visit us Mondays, Thursdays or Saturdays, and our volunteers can help you get started.
