Celebrate Trees with Seattle Public Utilities

Neighbors and the Public are invited to celebrate the opening of SPU’s new tree holding nursery at 711 NW 100th St. This new facility will care for trees that will be planted across the city through the Trees for Neighborhoods planting program. What Ballard and Seattle needs is more trees so this is a step in the right direction to keeping the Emerald City green and healthy!

This year’s Seattle Forest Week, SPU is hosting two events where you are able to connect with their program team to learn more about the nursery.

Community tree planting: Help put the finishing touches on the nursery at a community planting party with Dirt Corps. We will plant trees and smaller plants to help make this new space a beautiful addition to the neighborhood.

Wednesday, October. 22nd 3-5pm
