Family Bike Seattle Come ride a bike, or ride all the bikes!  Both electric-assist and unassisted cargo and family bikes will be on hand for you to enjoy. All the bikes are either owned by local families or are in Familybike’s sliding scale rental fleet.  Ask questions and enjoy the delight of riding with your kids!  There will also be maps and route information, and information about the rest of Family Bike Seattle’s programs (cargo bike rentals, family biking seminars, and riding classes).
Food Empowerment Project  Come by the Food Empowerment Project table to spin the wheel of our food justice trivia game or, for kids, try our veggie identifying game. Players win a piece of organic fair trade vegan chocolate. You can also see a demo of our Chocolate List app, and read about how how your food choices can help create a more just and sustainable world for all of us. Food is power!

KBFG Radio Visit the KBFG Booth!  KBFG volunteers invite visitors to Sustainable Ballard to stop by and tell us how you are working to save the planet. We will record responses and produce one of our first radio broadcasts. Children and adults are welcomed.
King County Metro  Come visit King County Metro at Sustainable Ballard, you will be able to revalue your ORCA Card, purchase a new ORCA Card or stop by and use the Wi-Fi provided on our RapidRide bus. We’ll be playing plinko for prizes.
Low Income Housing Institute  The Low Income Housing Institute is one of the leading non-profits in the country developing tiny house villages as an innovative solution to homelessness. Come find out how we build and sustain these villages, the unique tiny house designs, and learn interesting facts about our current and future villages!

New Roots Organics  At the New Roots Organics booth, we will have an example of a subscription box, and we’ll be sampling some kind of local fruit that is in the current bin. Northwest Intentional Communities Association (NICA)  NICA is a nonprofit that provides information about and for communities, sharing resources to make the region’s intentional communities (ICs) visible, relevant and stronger. We support community building efforts anywhere but focus in particular on intentional communities which include cohousing, co-ops, ecovillages, and all types of shared living situations. Come and talk with experienced members of Intentional Communities in Cascadia. We’ll have photos, flyers and can share stories about new ones forming in the Seattle area. Pick up a brochure, sign up on our mailing list and consider joining NICA for a day-long event at Star Community this October.
Phinney Neighborhood Association  The PNA Village provides a network of support, empowering people to remain in the homes and neighborhoods they love while staying active and engaged as they age. Visit our booth to learn more about how we are reimagining aging by offering elders opportunities combined with support to fully engage in this next phase of life. Ballard Preschool Co-op provides a part-time structured cooperative program designed to encourage the social, emotional, physical, and mental development of young children. It is also intended to be a resource and nucleus of support for participating families.
Plant Amnesty  Come visit the Plant Amnesty booth to see displays of malpruned trees. We will demonstrate to festival-goers the difference pruning makes in the health of the tree and thus our urban forest.
Puget Sound Solar, LLC  Got questions about SOLAR? Did the eclipse get you wondering how to put all that energy to work for you? Stop by our booth to get answers and learn about the financial incentives that are available to offset cost. You will also learn that solar can power your car.

Soaring Heart Natural Beds Soaring Heart has been hand-crafting natural and organic bedding in Seattle for 35 years. We work closely with our vendors to ensure that our materials are sustainable and safe! Come by our booth to learn more or to try your hand at building your own organic pillow or dog bed!
