Humble Design is hosting an Open Warehouse Nov 10 at 6pm
This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about what this organization does to assist with furnishing families and veterans emerging from homelessness. There will be activities, a short program, food, drinks & more. Event location: 2925 South 112th Street in Tukwila (Behind the U-Haul).
In the meantime, they’ve been dangerously low on a few items in their inventory lately. They would love to find a new home for furniture and goods you no longer have a need for. This is the perfect opportunity for some Fall Cleaning and to help others in our greater Seattle community by recycling your furniture & household items. Top needs:
- Couches, love seats & sectionals
- Twin & queen bed frames (especially platform beds)
- Lamps
- Standard pillows
- Any small furniture (side tables, consoles, small dining tables, etc)
Humble Designs has only one mover on staff at the moment, so they’re unable to offer pickups at this time. Sustainable Ballard’s very own Jody Grage is willing to act as a collection point and make deliveries that will fit in a station wagon.
