Landscaping for Climate Change Webinar

April 26 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Join RainWise to learn how to landscape with climate change in mind! Learn how RainWise rebates for rain gardens and cisterns combat pollution!

With every storm, rain carries pollutants off our roofs, driveways and other hard surfaces to local creeks, Lake Washington and Puget Sound. Rain gardens and cisterns can help control this stormwater, but we need your help! In selected areas of Seattle, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties.

This webinar is for homeowners interested in implementing landscape solutions to stormwater problems. The presentation will feature the RainWise program and rebates, but will include other climate-friendly actions that you can take. At this webinar you will learn:

• about the stormwater problem
• solutions you can implement to help solve it
• how to get a rebate of up to 100% of the cost on cisterns and/or rain gardens
• the rebate process & selecting a contractor
• a chance to ask questions with RainWise Program staff

Check your eligibility for a RainWise rebate in advance at 700milliongallons.org/rainwise/eligibility.
