City Fruit Class: CSA Savvy – Love Food, Stop Waste Cooking Series – June 19

10:00am to 12:00pm
Location:
Whole Foods Roosevelt Kitchen – 1026 NE 64th St, Seattle

Get creative with this season’s summer flavors in your CSA box. Don’t be overwhelmed by extra zucchini or unfamiliar vegetables. Together we will learn to make the most of the unique produce local Washington Farms have to offer. This class will help take the guesswork out of creating meals from this summer’s bounty and help you enjoy the flavors of the season while they last.

This is a free workshop, please register below to secure your seat.

This class is part of a monthly series designed to encourage residents to explore food-saving strategies and reduce the amount of edible food that ends up in Seattle’s waste stream. This series is sponsored by the Whole Foods Roosevelt kitchen and the Seattle Public Utilities: Love Food, Stop Waste project.
