This year, Feet First is launching the WALKTOBER campaign, challenging people to take steps to explore their surroundings each day during the month of October.

As part of the Walk for Fun leg of Walktober, participants will be provided a way to track their walks to be eligible to win great prizes.

We are meeting at Caffe’ Fiore at 9am and walking down to Golden Gardens beach. If you haven’t been to this beach, you won’t believe that it’s here in Seattle…..it looks more like a beach you would see in San Diego or LA. It’s a big sandy beach with views of Puget Sound (see photo below).  It’s a quiet oasis near busy Ballard.
