Help Amazing Grace win the Soup-er Bowl! – through Feb 5

Amazing Grace Spiritual Center is a Center for Spiritual Living, participating in the Soup-er Bowl competition with other CSLs across the United Sttaes.  The center that collects the highest number of cans of soup, chili and stew (per capita) by Super Bowl Sunday wins!  Amazing Grace is the defending champion, having won two years in a row.  They’re going for three!

All donations go to the Ballard Food Bank, which serves thousands in Ballard and surrounding areas and distributed over 1.4 million pounds of food and hygiene items last year.

Even if you are not a member of the Amazing Grace community, your help is welcomed in supporting the Ballard Food Bank and providing food to our neighbors.  Contributions are tax-deductible, and Amazing Grace will provide a confirming letter.

Last year they collected almost 1,000 cans and the goal this year is 2,000.  Help them make the touchdown!  (Please note that boxes of soup are okay, but no ramen packets please.)

The easiest time to deliver your donations is 8am to 2pm on Sundays, through February 5th (Super Bowl Sunday, the end of the collection), and 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Thursday evenings, when the building is always open.  To donate at other times, please email Rev. Colette Mercier to arrange a convenient drop-off time.
