Topics include all of the essentials: garden planning, plant selection and care, composting, watering, and managing pests and diseases. By learning organic techniques, you will be able to improve the quality of your food, be better prepared to manage pests organically and manage garden resources more sustainably. Leave with the knowledge and skills you need to grow your own food organically this year, while saving some money and having a lot of fun.

This four-hour class will be a combination of indoor, show-and-tell style lecture and a garden tour. Please bring a sack lunch and dress for the weather and garden tour activities.
