The Sustainable Ballard Festival: Get Involved!

The 2008 Festival is coming this fall (Sept 27-28) and we can use your help now!

Folks: Join us for a festival workparty on Saturday, August 30th. We'll be creating decorations and displays to be used at the festival. Click this link for details. If you are unable to attend, but would like to jump in and help at some point, check out these volunteer roles and contact Chris(at)sustainableballard.org.

Businesses: Sustainable Ballard is interested in partnering with locally-owned Ballard businesses, as well as businesses and organizations who practice social responsibility and environmental stewardship. If you fit these criteria and are interested in developing and promoting a festival partnership with Sustainable Ballard, please contact Jenny. How to get a free bike rack on City property:

Are you a Ballard business looking for a free bike rack in front of your establishment? All you have to do is contact our friend Dave Janis of the Bicycle Alliance at 206.224.9252 Ext. 302 or Davej@bicyclealliance.org and he'll take care of the rest, it's that easy! More information can also be found at [1], but make sure to contact Dave because he runs the show.
