On February 14, from 1pm to 5pm Salmon is Life will host a celebration at the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center, 4705 West Marginal Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106.
From 1-2:30pm, we will be socializing and art-making (all-ages: batiking prayer flags and coloring salmon hats). Then, from 2:30-4pm we will be sharing stories from our trip to Paris/COP21 with words, slides, video, and Paul Cheoketen Wagner’s Native American flute.
Everyone is invited to help circle the Longhouse with flying salmon around 4:30! The event is free. Some snacks will be provided; bring a favorite to share if you are inspired. For more information and/or to invite others via facebook go to: https://www.facebook.com/
