Central Ballard Residents Association Our booth has information to help prepare families in case of a major disaster. Learn how to make a home survival kit, secure property, protect pets, and where to find the nearest HUB site for local help information. There is a model of an actual gas valve to demonstrate cutting gas off to prevent explosions. The Wheel of “Mis-Fortune” also is back to help youngsters understand how they can prepare during emergencies.

Sound Transit West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions Sound Transit’s West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions project will host a free interactive booth to engage the public with the project. We will also provide informational materials such as brochures and free giveaways.
SR3, Sealife Response, Rehab and Research Sealife Response Rehab and Research is building the first dedicated marine animal hospital in Des Moines, Washington! Come learn about all the marine mammals we will be helping! Feel a sea otter pelt, hold a whale tooth and test your knowledge of marine mammals in the Salish Sea!

Waterfront Seattle The City of Seattle is rebuilding Seattle’s central waterfront. Once removal of the Alaskan Way Viaduct is complete, Seattle’s new waterfront will have a range of vibrant public spaces. Improvements, will feature new parks, public art, and improved access. We are here to give you the latest information on the project!
Zero Waste Washington Fix-It Fairs are all about repairing things. For free! Pass by to learn about how much stuff we are saving from the landfill and what we are repairing at the events. Bring kids to play a “Tool-Wheel” and chat about how you can be a part of the movement.
