Festival Work Parties — this is a really fun way to help with the festival, get to know some of your neighbors, perhaps learn something new. There will be food, drink and merriment! You can come by for an hour, or stay for the evening. For the address, email volunteer@sustainableballard.org.
Upcoming Work Parties on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, all at Jenny’s house, 6pm to 9pm each day:
August 16 & 17 – Structures: Sun & wheel sculptures, frames for waste stations
August 23 & 24 – Signs & displays, whatever needs attention
Button-making and bottle cap art will be available at all times.
