Ballard Tool Library – Open for Appointments Only

Appointments:
Given Governor Inslee’s stay home order, the Ballard Tool Library is now open by appointment only. For updates on the schedule please read our latest post.

Preferred Time Windows for Appointments:
Monday    –  9am to 12 noon
Tuesday   –  9am to 12 noon
Wednesday –  7am to 3pm
Thursday  –  7am to 3pm
Friday    –  7am to 3pm
Saturday  –  8am to 1pm
Sunday    –  9am to 12 noon

If this doesn’t work for your schedule, we can schedule an appointment at a convenient time for you. We are flexible. Arrange an appointment by emailing or texting Kim at manager@ballardtoollibrary.org.

There is no one manning the Tool Library during Phase 1 of our re-opening. We schedule an appointment day and time that works for you, when your appointment is confirmed, Kim, the Tool Library Manager, will meet you at that time and open the Library. Appointment slots are for one member only.

If you are new to Sustainable Ballard and prefer to come into the Library to sign up for a membership, you should allow extra time. If you are a Sustainable Ballard member, but have not used the Tool Library before, you will create a Library login, receive a copy of our Tool Use Policy, sign a waiver and provide ID.

We have a sale shelf of low priced tools which are overstocked at the Library. We also appreciate donations and will provide you a tax receipt for your records.
