Beyond False Solutions: Climate Resiliency in District 6

A workshop offered by the CARW Climate Justice Solidarity Group

Do you worry about climate change and its impact on your community? Join this  workshop “Beyond False Solutions: Climate Resiliency in District 6″ to learn how to build and support just and equitable solutions for climate justice in Seattle.

Let’s face it, the latest climate science is terrifying, and is calling on all of us to transform our neighborhoods and cities now. This need for change also presents a huge opportunity. We can come together, neighbor to neighbor, to build a city in which every person is safe, housed, and able to thrive through a changing climate. Join this workshop to learn the difference between a false solution and a real solution, and to partner with your neighbors as you uncover how to take real and immediate action for climate justice in Seattle.

We’re offering three sessions, each at a different location within District 6, so you can choose the one that works best for you:

Saturday, July 20th at the Fremont Library (731 N 35th St), 12-2pm

Sunday, July 28th at the Green Lake Library (7364 East Green Lake Dr N), 2-4pm

Wednesday, July 31st at 110 N 85th St #201 (a shared work space in Greenwood), 7-9pm
