Ballard Tool Library – Thanks! and Please join us!

Last month the Ballard Tool Library had its first ever garage sale and it was a great success, raising over $500 for the tool library!  At just $1 for hand tools and $5 for power tools, you can imagine the sheer volume of stuff we sold — a big mahalo to everyone who came down to BTL and supported us.  You rock!
Of course, the Ballard Tool Library would be nothing without its volunteers, so thank you to everyone who helped out with the event.  Whether you were setting up tables, fixing fliers, or taking the cash, your contributions made this whole thing possible.  Thanks!
We enjoyed our time at this year’s Festival, where we invited attendees to make their own tealight candle holders.  This was a popular activity for festival-goers.  If you missed it, you’ll have another opportunity coming up at Peddler’s Brewing on Thursday, November 1st.  Stay tuned for more info on that!
If you’ve thought about volunteering with the Ballard Tool Library but haven’t gotten around to it yet, stop on by — it’s fun, you meet your neighbors, and you just might learn a thing or two!  We are open four days a week:
  • Sundays 2pm-5pm
  • Tuesdays, 11am-1pm
  • Thursdays, 5pm-8pm
  • Saturdays, 9am-11am
