Family-friendly, fun, FREE, and full of surprises, the Sustainable Ballard Festival is celebrating its 15th year! This year we are exploring ways to FIND YOUR PATH in the community!  Visit local sustainable businesses and non-profits, catch some local buskers, sample tasty tea, coffee & sweets in the Tea Garden.  Built Green is our Festival Sponsor again this year — find out how your home scores on the Built Green checklist!  Columbia Bank is our Theme Sponsor — have you visited their new NeighborHub?

Many of your favorites will be back, plus more new activities, workshops, and hands-on games than ever before.  Enter to win prizes, learn new ways to lower your carbon footprint, help us make fresh cider and meet farm animals! The Sustainable Ballard Festival is a fantastically fun opportunity to learn together, get inspired, and discover new ways to live more lightly on the earth.

Calling all Buskers!

Hey Buskers!  We want you to play at the Sustainable Ballard Festival on Saturday, September 22nd at Ballard Commons Park.  Just CLICK HERE and sign up for your slot(s). Slots are 30 or 45 minutes each, including set-up/breakdown. Both busker stations have a small stage and tent covering. We will have a small PA available at each station, if needed. The festival attracts about 4,000 people. You are welcome to put out a tip jar.

Last call for Festival Sponsors!

Sustainable Ballard depends on the generosity of local environmental organizations and green businesses in order to stage the festival every year. The deadline to participate is August 11th.

Our sponsors create wonderful educational and interactive exhibits that help visitors learn more about the dedication that these fine organizations have to creating a more sustainable world. Only food and subscription sales are allowed at the Sustainable Ballard Festival, giving attendees and business owners a chance to make lasting personal connections.
