Our Festival Exhibitors help us create the fun and festive atmosphere we’ve all come to love. You’ll find all kinds of useful information by stopping by our exhibitors’ booths to play a game, see a demo or enjoy a sample.

Ballard ReUse + Seattle ReCreative Ballard Reuse and Seattle Recreative are teaming up on a booth. We will have materials on display, fun games made from salvaged materials and creative ideas for reuse. We hope to show how fun it can be to reuse and inspire people to keep more good stuff out of the landfill.
Built Green Come learn about green remodeling strategies and what it takes to get your home certified as a Built Green remodel! We will have lots of information about both remodeling and new construction as well as what you can do to make your home healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable. For the kids we’ll have a table where they can create birdhouses out of reutilized green home tour signs!
Carbon Washington  Visit the Carbon Washington booth to pick up a flyers, talk to us and learn more about Initiative 732 and the importance of carbon-pricing in general. Come Ask A Climate Scientist! See climate science demonstrations, ask questions, win prizes! Learn how to get informed, get involved and take action to help the climate!
Central Ballard Residents Association + Ballard Prepares Please join us to learn how to prepare your household and neighborhood in the event of a major disaster.

 City Fruit  Come visit with City Fruit and learn all about Seattle’s urban fruit tree canopy! Did you know City Fruit recovered over 36,000 pounds of fruit last year? Learn about volunteer opportunities including tree harvest and watering parties!

The Washington Chapter of F.E.P. encourages choices that reflect a more compassionate society by spotlighting the abuse of animals on farms, the depletion of natural resources, unfair working conditions for produce workers, and the unavailability of healthy foods in communities of color and low-income areas. Master Composter / Soil Builder  The Master Composter/Soil Builder (MC/SB) volunteer program is a key partner in Seattle’s waste reduction and recycling efforts. We help city residents to build worm bins, recycle food and yard waste at their homes, build healthy urban soils and support thriving landscapes throughout the city.
 NARN (Northwest Animal Rights Network)  NARN is here to help you learn about how your food choices significantly impact the people and the planet. We have recipes, guides and a wealth of other information about how you can make positive changes for you and the environment.

New Roots Organics At the New Roots Organics booth, we will have an example of a subscription box, and we’ll be sampling some kind of local fruit that is in the current bin. Seattle Summer Parkways  Summer Parkways are free, all-ages events that open up the city’s largest public space – our streets – for you, your family, friends and neighbors to come out, enjoy the sun, have fun, enjoy outdoor activities, discover cool local businesses, delicious restaurants and cafes, and explore more using healthy active transportation to celebrate the spirit & personality of some of Seattle’s amazing local communities.
Sierra Club  Right now, Shell Oil wants to expand its existing refinery to bring six more oil trains a week through Seattle. Learn about the dangers of oil by rail traffic in our community and what YOU can do about it! Sierra Club works to keep the places where we work, live, and play safe!
Skate Like a Girl We will be running Skate Clinics for FREE during the festival, as well as providing boards and protective gear.  All ages and all abilities encouraged!   Be sure to register early — each clinic is limited to ten participants.  Clinic sign ups open at 11am, for Clinics @ 12pm, 1pm & 2pm.  Skate Demonstration @ 3pm.

Trinity United Methodist Church  Trinity United Methodist in Ballard acts locally and globally to care for our community and share it with all creatures. Test your recycling/reuse skills with our bean bag toss game! Have your face painting with an environment-friendly theme (for kids and adults)! Learn about our creation care projects!
Waste Management  Waste Management is proud to service the City of Seattle and support their recycling efforts by committing to provide education and outreach services to help create a more sustainable community. At Sustainable Ballard, WM will have our Recycling Education booth, where we will provide free recycle, compost and waste diversion information. For those who want to participate in a recycling challenge, we will also be providing give-away’s made from recycled content!
Waterfront Seattle  Learn about Waterfront Seattle, a multi-year program to rebuild Seattle’s waterfront. The program includes improvements to the sustainability and environment of the waterfront, such as a landscaped promenade extending north-south along the waterfront that manages stormwater and showcases native plants. Don’t forget to take a free photo in our photo booth!
Z-Ultimate Self-Defense  We specialize in personalized martial arts training for men, women, and children of all ages. We will be offering trial Martial Arts and Self Defense training. Our booth will also have a dart board game where people can shoot the darts to win free private lessons.
